Terms of Service

Ilm o Amal is a free, non-profit platform for Islamic learning. There are no fees, subscriptions, purchases or donations within the service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.

You must give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to consent to these terms in your country, or have a parent or guardian's permission.

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not post unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, sectarian-inflammatory or sexually explicit content; do not impersonate others; do not upload material you do not have the right to share; do not attempt to break, overload or misuse the platform; do not harvest other users' data.

Live classes are for teaching and learning. Recording, re-streaming or capturing a class is not permitted.

You keep ownership of what you create. You grant us a licence to host, display and distribute your content within the service so that it can function (for example, showing your post in a follower's feed). You are responsible for what you publish and confirm you have the rights to it.

Only upload books and documents that are in the public domain, that you own, or that you are expressly permitted to distribute for free. We will remove material on a credible copyright complaint. Send notices to support@islam.devsystemcreations.com.

Verification means we have reviewed an applicant's stated credentials in good faith. It is not a guarantee, ijāzah, or endorsement of every opinion a scholar expresses. Scholars are responsible for their own teaching and content. We may revoke scholar status for breaches of these terms.

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or harm other users or the platform. Where practical we will give a reason.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Religious content is the view of its author; Ilm o Amal does not adjudicate differences of scholarly opinion. We do not guarantee that classes will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ilm o Amal and its team are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or content, arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or if we stop operating the service.

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
