Ilm o Amal exists to make authentic Islamic learning easier to reach — and to keep it free.
What we do
We connect students with verified scholars through live classes, short written lessons, and a free library of books to read online or download for offline study. You follow the scholars you want to learn from and get a simple feed of their new classes, posts and books — nothing else.
How we are different
Non-profit. There are no ads, no paid courses, no subscriptions and no donation button inside the service.
A place to learn, not a social network. Students follow scholars; scholars teach. There is no student-to-student contact.
Nothing is recorded. Live classes happen in the moment and are never stored.
Your data stays with us. We run our own servers and do not sell or share your information.
Verification
Scholars apply with their credentials, qualifications and references. We review each application before granting the verified badge and the ability to teach. Verification is a good-faith check, not an endorsement of every view a scholar holds.
